I CAN Get Active

The I CAN Get Active Strategy was approved by Council in 2008 and offers Ajax residents many free or low-cost active living opportunities, including:

  • Grade 5 Action Pass

Pass allows for free public skating & swimming for current Grade 5 students. Pick up your free Action Pass at one of our community centres. Proof of date of birth and address is required. Read more about the Grade 5 Action Pass at: durham.ca

  • Snowshoe Loaning Program

  • Nordic Walking Poles

The I CAN Get Active initiative aims to inform residents of programs, facilities and opportunities. It also encourages residents to be more active, to enjoy greater and barrier free access to information and services, and be better able to set and attain personal goals.

Get involved; be inspired; ignite a new healthy you.
