Community Festivals & Events Volunteer

If you're 14 yrs or older, enjoy serving the public, and enjoy special events such as Winterfest, Canada Day, Pumpkinville, Santa Claus Parade, and New Year's Eve, contact eventvolunteers@ajax.ca for more information or to email your completed volunteer application form.

Inclusion Volunteer

If you're 16 yrs or older and enjoy working with people with special needs in a recreational setting, contact Laura Tegelberg at 905-619-2529 ext. 7259 or laura.tegelberg@ajax.ca

Aquatics Volunteer

If you're 15 yrs or older, want workplace experience and want to further develop your communication and instructing skills during swimming programs, email volunteer@ajax.ca. Pre-requisites: Current Red Cross Assistant Instructors Course and current Bronze Cross.

St. Francis Centre Volunteer

How do I get started?

  • Download and complete a Volunteer Application Form, or pick one up at the Ajax & McLean Community Centres, the Audley Recreation Centre or the St. Francis Centre.
  • Submit a current Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Check (age 16 yrs or older) prior to volunteering.

**First Aid Certification is an asset**
