Removal Of Holding (‘H’) Provision - 200 Salem Road North

On September 17, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, Town Hall, located at 65 Harwood Avenue South, Town of Ajax Council will consider the passing of a By-law to lift a Holding (‘H’) Provision in the Town’s Zoning By-law 95-2003, as amended, on the lands municipally known as 200 Salem Road North. A location map is provided below.

The purpose of this By-law is to remove the Holding (‘H’) Provision from the subject lands, in order to facilitate the development of a food distribution centre.

The proposed development has been reviewed in detail through Site Plan Application SP3/18. The conditions for the removal of the Holding ‘(H)’ Provision include:

  • That the applicant submit a site plan application to the Town for approval; and
  • That the applicant enters into a site plan/development agreement with the Town.

The conditions to remove the Holding (‘H’) Provision on the subject lands are to be satisfied, prior to September 17, 2018.
