The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Official Plan Amendment OPA15-A1, Zoning By-law Amendment Z3/15, and Site Plan Amendment SP6/15, submitted by Rexell Developments Inc., to amend the Town of Ajax Official Plan and Zoning By-law, to allow for a 1-storey, 942.9m2 commercial building with 7 units and 27, 3-storey, townhouses within a common element condominium.

We are offering you, as an assessed person within 120 metres of the subject property, the opportunity to review and comment on this application prior to, or during its consideration by the Community Affairs and Planning Committee, at a meeting to be held on December 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, Ajax Town Hall, 65 Harwood Avenue South.

A copy of the Staff Report with recommendations to the Committee will be available after 1:00 p.m. on December 1, 2017 at 65 Harwood Avenue South.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Ajax before the zoning by-law amendment is passed, the person or public body:

  1. is not entitled to appeal the decision of Council of the Town of Ajax to the Ontario Municipal Board; and
  2. may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
