The Ajax waterfront is a popular destination. The Town has implemented several new initiatives in 2021 to help manage the volume of visitors and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience this summer. 

 We Love Ajax Waterfront Online Session

 An interactive We Love Ajax Waterfront online information session was held on May 4 for residents. The one-hour session covered a variety of topics including the new waterfront parking plan, Rotary Boardwalk construction update, Paradise Park update, maintenance plan, new signage, Covid protocols & restrictions, photo contest and Q&A with staff. What to expect at the Ajax Waterfront

  • 6 Parking Lots open
  • Paid Parking
  • Increased weekend maintenance crews
  • Increased security patrols
  • Washrooms open
  • Boomerang your garbage, litter & food. Bring it back home with you
  • #ActiveTOA: walk, cycle or roll
  • Trails and green space open for passive use
  • Wear a mask and watch your distance
  • Outdoor gathering limit 10. 
  • Report issues on AppJAX.

Visitor checklist & reminders:

  • No alcohol 
  • No BBQs
  • No campfires
  • No littering
  • No obnoxious behviour

Failure to adhere to the above checklist may result in a fine.
