ACC Parking Lot Resurfacing and Expansion

  • Expansion of the existing parking lot to accommodate approximately 125 new parking spaces
  • Rain gardens to manage storm water
  • New LED lights
  • Resurfacing of the existing south, east and west parking lots
  • Traffic Calming to address speeding issues
  • The resurfacing of Kitney Drive from Clements Road to ACC
  • Installation of security cameras in the south parking lot
  • Installation of Electric Vehicle stations

Mills Road from Hunt Street to Station Street

The project will include the following:

  • Reconstruction of road
  • Removal and replacement of curb
  • New Sidewalk on the West side

Town has partnered with the Region to replace the watermain under one contract.

 

Polar and Range Line Road Intersection,

Ruthel and Range Line Road Intersection

Closure of the intersections is required to facilitate the replacement of the road-crossing culverts under each direction of the intersections.

Achilles Road – West of Salem Road

Work includes rehabilitation of the road-crossing culvert under Achilles Road. Lane restrictions are required to complete the work.

Fall 2018

Range Road – Hoile to Lake Ridge

Reconstruction of Range Road from unpaved, rural road to asphalt pavement in order to meet current Town standards. Range Road will maintain closed for local access only.

Church Street – Rossland to Hydro Corridor – Hydro Poles Relocations

Veridian will complete pole relocations ahead of Church Street Construction scheduled to commence Fall of 2019, subject to Council approval.
