Ajax – Request funding for 2020 community programs, events and initiatives

Applications for 2020 IMPACT Ajax program being accepted Sept. 9 - Oct. 24

The Town is calling on residents and incorporated not-for-profits to strengthen the Ajax community by applying to the 2020 IMPACT Ajax Community Support Program at ajax.ca/impact.

The program provides funding and resources support for local neighbourhood-based activities and innovative community projects. Past recipients of the program have hosted neighbourhood meet and greets, educational workshops, sports and cultural programs, celebrations and more.

Residents and organizations interested in applying can drop-in Tuesday mornings, from September 17 – October 22, 2019, to the IMPACT Consultation Café to talk with the Town about their project. Community organizations can also attend the Find a Funder Conference on Friday, September 13, 2019, to learn about the program as well as many other grant opportunities.

  • The Drop-In IMPACT Ajax Consultation Café is open each Tuesday between September 17 – October 22, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Carruther’s Room at the Ajax Community Centre.
  • Find a Funder Conference is for not-for-profits to network and explore funding opportunities on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the Ajax Community Centre, 75 Centennial Rd, Ajax.
  • The innovative community development program is funded primarily by the Town’s Slots Revenue.
