Translation Services
The Town of Ajax has translation services at all of its facilities. This service known as "Language Line" allows English-as-a-second-language residents to access translation assistance when they come to Town facilities or call with inquiries. The service is helpful for customers who have a heavy accent or speak in broken English. The service is available to all residents, businesses and visitors to Ajax in over 170 languages. With over 3000 interpreters available, staff are able to bridge the language gap quickly and efficiently. Public Conduct
The Town of Ajax is committed to creating respectful, tolerant, and harassment-free environments for members of the public and employees of the Town. In order to achieve this, the Town's Public Conduct Policy outlines expectations for appropriate behaviour by all individuals when interacting with Town Staff, Members of Council, and other patrons and users of Town facilities and services. All customers and employees of the Town of Ajax are entitled to a respectful and harassment-free environment at all of our facilities and public spaces. Unacceptable behaviour will be addressed pursuant to the Public Conduct Policy.
