Tax Certificate Online (TCOL) |
Property tax certificates are now available online by using the Tax Certificate Online Tool (TCOL) made available in collaboration with Dye & Durham and Access Point Information Canada. TCOL is a fast, convenient way to obtain tax certificates electronically within minutes. Use the Tax Certificate Online Tool The attached document provides instructions on how to register for a TCOL account and receive your certificate within minutes. Should you prefer to request your tax certificate through our office, send your cheque payable to Town of Ajax for the appropriate fee, together with your letter to 65 Harwood Ave S, Ajax ON L1S 2H9. Certificates are issued weekly. |

Property assessments and appeals (MPAC) |
Property assessment is the responsibility of the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). To appeal your property assessment, or if you have any questions about your assessment, please contact MPAC at 1-866-296-6722. You can also look up basic property information and assessed values for other properties of your choice by visiting AboutMyProperty.ca. |
Senior homeowners property tax grant |
The Senior Homeowners' Property Tax Grant is an annual amount offered by the Province of Ontario to help offset property taxes for seniors with low and moderate incomes who own their own homes. Senior homeowners apply for the grant when they file their personal income tax return. Please call 1-866-668-8297 and ask for information on Ontario Tax Credits. |
Land tax sale |
There are currently no properties advertised for Land Tax Sale. The tax sale scheduled for March 2, 2023 has been cancelled. |
