Please be advised the Town of Ajax has retained C. Valley Paving Ltd., to complete the Town Hall Parking Lot Improvements project at 65 Harwood Avenue South.
Due to time constraints, the scheduling of the work has been revised to include the following in 2023:
- New underground conduits for the installation of future security cameras and electric vehicle charging stations,
- Watermain replacement,
- Sanitary and storm sewer repairs, and
- Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical upgrades in the Pool Building.
During this time, there will be minor localized restrictions to the parking lot and parking spaces where the work is being performed. Access to the Library and Town Hall as well as parking will be maintained during the work. All repair areas will be restored prior to winter maintenance.
The following work will be completed from April to May 2024:
- Concrete curb and sidewalk repairs,
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA, 2005) compliant parking spaces,
- Parking lot pavement substructure repairs,
- Full and partial depth asphalt removal and replacement with new asphalt,
- Installation of traffic calming speed tables, and
- New line painting and pavement markings.
The Town of Ajax realizes that construction work for the Town Hall Parking Lot Improvement project may be disruptive to you. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience in this regard, and we will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
