Round Robins

No pre-registration required!

Round robins run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Drop-In Intermediate Junior Clinics

Free for youth holding a squash membership and who have completed a Squash - Learn to Play - Beginner program.


  • 1 to 2 p.m. - For ages 9-12yrs
  • 2 to 3 p.m. - For ages 13-17yrs

Dustin specializes in pushing past plateaus. He has a passion for exercise, is very approachable and welcomes all of your questions. Credentials include:

Linda Calla

With many years of customer service experience, Linda draws her energy from sharing her experience and knowledge with her clients and watching them reach their goals. Credentials include:

New Members Welcome and Etiquette

Welcome to the Town of Ajax Fitness & Health Centres. We are sure that you will enjoy our exceptional facilities, outstanding programs and professional staff. Your Fitness Team is committed to assisting you to reach your fitness and active lifestyle goals.

The Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology accredits our fitness facilities. This accreditation guarantees highly skilled staff, exceptional programs and outstanding service. All of our fitness staff are Certified Personal Trainers. We are here to give you an exceptional fitness experience. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.

Your Fitness & Health Centre membership allows you access to both the Ajax Community Centre and the McLean Community Centres. Your membership also includes unlimited skating and swimming during public swim/skate times.

With every new member you refer to our Fitness & Health Centres for a One Year Membership, add a one month extension to your membership. You are welcome to bring a guest in for ONE complimentary workout. You must accompany your guest during their visit in the Fitness & Health Centre. Guests must provide photo identification (i.e. Driver's License) when signing in and must be 18 years of age or older.

Members Etiquette

CAUTION: The equipment in the Fitness & Health Centres may present hazards which can lead to serious injury. If you are unsure on how to use a machine, or notice that it is not functioning properly, please request the help of the Fitness & Health Centre Consultant on duty.


  • Please leave all personal belongings in a locker; locks can be rented or purchased from the Reception Desk; lockers are for day use only; locks will be removed if left on lockers for more than 24 hours.
  • You can put your membership on hold. Please see our Customer Service Staff for details.
  • All members must have their membership cards visible while using the Fitness & Health Centre. All members must scan their membership card at the Reception Desk at every visit.
  • You will be asked to leave if you are not wearing proper, clean, athletic attire (shirt, indoor athletic shoes, shorts/athletic pants) for health and safety reasons; no outdoor footwear is permitted in the Fitness & Health Centre or Fitness Studio.
  • All weights must be returned to their original location to:
    • Reduce trip hazards
    • Prevent others from moving weights heavier than they can safely lift
    • Free equipment for the next person to use
  • Please wipe off equipment after use; paper towels and disinfectant are provided.
  • No children are permitted in the Fitness & Health Centre's Member Change rooms.
  • Please allow fellow members to "work-in" as necessary during your workout.
  • Please ask the Fitness & Health Centre staff for assistance as required.
  • At the discretion of Recreation and Culture staff, membership privileges may be suspended or revoked. The Town of Ajax "Code of Conduct", located in the main reception area of the Ajax and McLean Community Centres, states the behaviours expected of facility and program users as well as Fitness & Health Centre members. 

 Sauna Safety:

  • Take a shower before going into the sauna.
  • We recommend users sit on a towel.
  • Do not leave towels unattended in the sauna.
  • Do not shave in the sauna.
  • Do not spray or pour water or other liquids on to the sauna rocks.
  • Keep conversation and noise level to a minimum.
  • Be respectful of others personal space.
People on prescription drugs or suffering from certain medical conditions such as pregnancy, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and obesity should consult their physician before using the sauna.
