Leash-Free Dog Parks

Leash-free parks allow dogs to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise in a designated and safe environment. Ajax has four designated off-leash areas:

  • Bottom of Hermitage Park
  • Greenwood Conservation area – Parking at Church St./ 5th Concession
  • Anglers Parking Area – Westney Rd. (North of Clements Rd., west side)
  • Audley Recreation Centre – West of baseball fields
  • Mulberry Meadows Neighbourhood Park - Ainley Road and Turnerbury Avenue
Parks

Spend the day at one of Ajax's many parks, many of which have athletic fields, playgrounds and picnic shelter areas available to rent.
Trails

Explore Ajax's safe and connected 100 km trail system that is surrounded by rich natural settings including Duffins Creek, Millers Creek, Carruthers Creek and Lake Ontario.
Greenwood Conservation Area
Explore the banks of Duffins Creek and explore 283 hectares of naturalized green space, nature trails, walking paths and playgrounds.
