Beat the winter blues and stay active, connected and engaged at home with TOA virtual winter programs. The Town’s expanded programming includes the launch of virtual fitness classes (more than 25 classes are being offered weekly!) including Yogalates, upper and lower body strength training classes, as well as Bootcamp, Super Sculpt and more. TOA virtual winter programs are offered under five distinct themes:

Health & Wellness

  • Live virtual fitness classes from our expert Town of Ajax instructors
  • Fig & Pear Naturally’s wellness workshops (Healthy Foods to Help Combat Stress and 10 Minute Plant Based Meals)
    • Afiwi Groove’s African-Caribbean dance classes

Family Fun

  • Quiz Wiz – a free Virtual Family Trivia Night with prizes for the winners beginning February 3

Older Adults 55+

  • Older Adults 55+: Let’s do Lunch – free monthly lunch and learn program
  • Older Adults 55+: Seniors Centre Without Walls – free and now available on Zoom

Educational & Certifications

  • SOS 4 Kids Home Alone Safety certification
  • Red Cross Babysitting certification courses
  • Mad Science’s Art and Science Classes

Arts & Culture

  • Virtual live stream concert series in partnership with The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts and Ontario Presents
