Town of Ajax launches shared e-bike and e-scooters program with Lime Canada
Join us for the official launch event at Rotary Park on July 3 at 1:30 p.m.!
The Town of Ajax has partnered with Lime Canada to offer continued access to e-scooters and e-bikes for residents and visitors. Electric kick scooters and pedal assist e-bikes offer convenient transportation options for people without access to a car, who do not live near transit and who may not have the physical capacity to use conventional bikes and scooters.
Lime Canada will have various convenient locations set up around the Town to ensure easy access from one destination to the next, including work, the Ajax waterfront, shops or appointments.
The community is invited to attend the official launch of the new shared e-scooter and e-bike program with Ajax Council, Town staff and Lime Canada on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the south parking lot of the Ajax Community Centre (75 Centennial Rd, Ajax, ON) from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.!
The afternoon will include opening remarks from Ajax Council, an opportunity to learn more about the program, demonstrations from Lime Canada and a chance to try using their e-scooters and e-bikes.

This program supports our commitment to accessible, sustainable mobility for all residents and visitors. Whether commuting to work or exploring the waterfront, e-scooters and e-bikes offer a convenient way to get around. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and discover all that Ajax has to offer.” – Shaun Collier, Mayor and CEO, Town of Ajax
“All of us at Lime are grateful to the Town of Ajax for giving us this opportunity to offer residents and visitors affordable, shared and sustainable transportation options through our e-bikes and e-scooters. We will introduce our latest technology and customized parking solutions to better serve Ajax’s residents, businesses and visitors. We will be laser focused on the quality of our service. Over the next few months, Lime will collaborate with the Town to educate both riders and non-riders on the program, safe riding practices and road safety rules ahead of our launch. We're excited to expand our services to another vibrant community in the GTA." - Vladana Zlatic, General Manager of Lime Canada.
